Mora Tool is a long-standing and stable tool company that was founded in Mora in 1971. The current owner took over the company on January 1, 2012 and is leading the company together with the staff into the future, with the customer in focus and with the ambition to always deliver tools and subcontracted parts of the highest quality.
Mora Tool is the Tool Company/Lego Company with the knowledge and resources for the design and production of modern and efficient Follow-Up, Cutting, Forming, Bending and Plastic Tools.
We work with contract machining within Wire/Electrode EDM, Milling, Turning and Grinding as well as the development of special machines and fixtures for welding and measurement. Mora Tool has the knowledge, personnel, opportunities and machines to help you. We do this regardless of whether it is about the development or manufacture of tools, advanced manufacture of parts in small and large series. You can also get a complete service for all your tools in your production. Cooperating with Mora Tool gives you knowledge and cost-effectiveness where we maintain the entire process. PRODUCTION MANAGER
About the job
As a production manager, you are responsible for manufacturing production, including turning, sparking, assembly and grinding. You lead the staff in your area of responsibility, approximately 10 people, with the ambition that the number will be increased. You conduct salary and development discussions for the unit. The executive must, together with other employees and management, develop production and manufacturing into a modern, efficient and profitable business. This is done by distributing and delegating responsibility and developing the staff in each area. You are involved in the work for the work environment, quality and complaints. The work includes daily planning of production, improving work routines and increasing efficiency, as well as developing calculation bases for sales. You are part of the company's management team.
Who are we looking for?
You have technical knowledge and experience from production work/management with a few years of experience in personnel management. We would like you to have your own experience of turning and milling. Experience from Monitor, as well as experience from LEAN work, is an advantage. Good knowledge of Word & Excel. Good knowledge of English is required in speech & writing. Post-secondary education is an advantage
Personal qualities: good leadership skills, structured, analytical, results-oriented, communicative and interested in technology. Curious, willing to participate in development and advancement.
